Carlos Torano Casa Torano Maduro

Carlos Torano Casa Torano Maduro
The smoke was kicked off with notes of rich chocolate and wood.  The taste stayed pretty constant with peppery notes and coffee coming around every once in a while.  Good cigar to enjoy while watching some baseball.

Cohiba Edicion Diamante Capa Reserva 1980 Robusto

The Cohiba Edicion Diamante Capa Reserva 1980 Robusto
I'll begin this blog with an outstanding cigar by Cohiba.  This is a limited release cigar with a 32 year old Cameroon wrapper.  This is one of the few cigars that I've smoked that are older than I am.  I've heard that the aroma produced from this cigar is one of the most pleasing; however, I smoked this cigar alone so I didn't have anyone to ask how it smelled haha.  It was very smooth throughout the whole smoke and took around 2 hours.  The taste was very complex; beginning with oak and a hint of leather, then shifting into a nuttiness with a hint of spice while holding an even burn throughout.  It was a great smoke for a very rare cigar.
