I'm sorry that I did not get a chance to take a picture of this stick. This is a relatively new release from General Cigar, the CAO Rider's Revenge cigar, which weighs in at 6 1/2 by 52. The band covers approximately half of the cigar, which I removed shortly after lighting it. I had no complaints with the construction of the cigar. It burned nicely and smoked well.
The Taste
Well, I'm not too fond of flavored cigars so my response might be slightly biased, but I was not a big fan of this pumpkin cigar. Once I got passed the sugar that rubbed off onto my lips from the wrapper of the cigar, I tried to taste this candle-like smelling cigar. It seemed as if they were trying to disguise the cheap tobacco used for this blend with some fancy flavoring. I'm not even sure if they pinned down any sort of pumpkin flavor anyway. I tasted some spice and maybe a tad of pumpkin spice but not much more. Then, the cigar got too sweet around the middle and I had to set it down. I then grabbed a CAO Flathead Steel Horse which I enjoyed much more thoroughly.
My Recommendation:
I might recommend this to people that enjoy flavored cigars because I think that you might like this. If you like the ACID cigars then give this a shot, but if you are like me and don't appreciate flavored cigars then I do not recommend smoking this cigar. I barely even made it through half of the cigar before I chose to set it down.
Thank you and Enjoy your day,
Garrett
