PDR 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Maduro

PDR 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Maduro
This cigar had a nice, inviting, creamy smoke.  It kicked off with some peppery notes and a crescendo of chocolate as the smoke went on.  I liked the stick a lot even though it was not very complex; it had a classic maduro taste throughout the whole smoke, which I liked.

  1. I don't know much about cigars, but I really like your detailed descriptions of the different distinct flavors.

  2. Thank you. So much goes into a cigar from when each leaf is picked until it eventually gets smoked. It is a very long and beautiful process, but when it reaches the final stage of getting smoked, it is fun to see what the master blenders had in mind for the taste and overall construction of each cigar.
